No one cares what we don't like. And even less what we hate. Of course, no one can be positive all the time--nor is there reason to be, but I have for decades been praying to be a positive person who builds up people rather than tear them down.
I may not be the gold standard for gracious speech, but I'm making steady improvement with Proverbs 22:11 as a life verse: "Whoever loves a pure heart and whose speech is gracious will have the king for his friend." That's why I resist the temptation to slam or harshly critique people. Trust me, the temptation is there, but I want better things for my life. I know you do, too.
