In our continuing look at the next challenges of the Journey to Biblical Manhood, this week we examine:
Challenge 7 - Mission
This challenge helps men understand how they can contribute to Kingdom work. It introduces your men to the spiritual gifts, the call to serve, and the importance of being guided by a sense of purpose and vision.
Your walk through this challenge will help men examine the origin and anecdote for discontentment, finding meaning in their work, using their abilities and gifts, developing a life mission statement, and igniting fresh passion for God.
Leaders, take your church's men on the Journey - we've already done the planning for you!
We've all lost confidence in leaders because we think they let us down--whether a boss, pastor, or elected official. That's to be expected. You may have even been the leader who went through, or is going through, such a crisis. But what if the leader didn't really let us down? How can the leader restore confidence that the plan is still working? That's exactly the situation Jesus faced. So in this lesson, we're going to see how He restored confidence in the disciples. And, in the process, we'll learn a couple of practical ways to both restore and maintain confidence--whether it's for us or someone else. Join us. It's going to be a great day!
This week's Big Idea: Even if I die, God is still in control.
