A Get Out of Jail Free Pass: If you have dug yourself in too big a hole, then let me encourage you with a “get out of jail free” pass. Begin again TODAY with today’s date, and forget about the days you missed. You may do this again anytime during the year (but don’t abuse it). It’s called grace.
Alternate Strategies: If you’re having a hard time keeping up, here are some ideas. First, just read the days you can, and forget about the other days. Second, just read the New Testament and Psalms this year (another year, if you want, you can add back the Old Testament).
Why am I suggesting these cuts? God would rather see you in His Word a little than not at all.
