When the walls are closing in, when I need to adjust my attitude and perspective, I like to linger over these favorite Scriptures and let them grip my heart....
He is the visible image of the invisible God. (Colossians 1:15)
In Christ dwells all the fullness of God in bodily form. (Colossians 2:9)
He is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being. (Hebrews 1:3)
“I and the Father are one”. (John 10:30)
“He who has seen me has seen the Father”. (John 14:9)
This reality check—this ritual of memory—always seems to get me back on track. Do you have a reality check? If not, you may want to consider developing one of your own.
