The Man in the Mirror “One Minute” Radio Program

Men! Here’s an exciting new way to help build the Kingdom in your community!
In May, we began airing a new radio program, The Man in the Mirror “One Minute,” on the Moody Radio Network—thanks to Moody Publishers! I do the programs personally—short nuggets from my books. The program currently airs on approximately 50 radio stations nationwide.
Now that we have the “system” in place there’s no reason not to expand it everywhere! Would you like to help?
How you can hear sample programs
For starters, you can listen to programs from May and June on the Man in the Mirror website, click here (and then click on any of the dates listed on the right hand column as you scroll down).
How can you find out if the program is airing in your area?
To find out if the program airs in your community, call your local Christian radio station(s), ask for the person in charge of programming decisions, and ask them if they are airing the new ‘short feature’ radio program for men called “The Man in the Mirror” featuring Patrick Morley.
How can you get the program to air on your station?
What if your station is not airing it yet? Give the person who makes programming decisions a short testimony about Man in the Mirror, then ask, “Would you like to hear a demo of the program?” If so (and most will say “Yes”), send them an email including a) your personal comments and b) copy and paste the following info:

How can your station start airing the program?
Bill Neff, our Producer, will handle all the details. Basically, the station will either download the program from a satellite, our FTP site, or we’ll send them CDs. It’s really easy, and the stations do this all the time.
How much does it cost to air?
If the station wants to talk to you about “rate cards,” you can tell them the program is only being offered to radio stations to air on a “sustaining basis.” (That means that Man in the Mirror is not charging the station for the cost of production and distribution, and the station is not charging Man in the Mirror anything for the air time). Many stations will air it on that basis; others will want to look for a local sponsor (business, church, or individual who will offset the station’s costs)—that’s fine! Perhaps you would like to sponsor the show, or you know of a Christian businessman that would be interested. Other stations will not air the program unless time is purchased. Each approach is valid. Every station operates differently.
Be sure to follow up in a few days to see if they’ve had time to listen, if they’re interested, want to air it, and so forth.
