Four Strategies to Reach Men in 2009

This economic meltdown may become the greatest ministry opportunity of our lifetimes. Whether that happens or not, we would be wise to prepare as though it is.

Millions of men have already been caught up in the economic meltdown. And it won’t be long until it affects us all.

What does God require? “And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering. Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment” (Jude 22-23).

For those of us passionate about reaching men for Christ, the question is not, “How will I survive economically?” (you will), but, “How can I best serve my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ during this time?”

Here are four strategies for immediate action:

• Conduct "How to Survive the Economic Meltdown" Outreach Events. Give your congregation a place to invite their friends, neighbors, and co-workers for help. You have four options: You or your pastor teach it, get someone local to teach it, show DVDs of me teaching it, or hire one of our faculty to teach it.
