Sharon Carey, Vice President of Finance

Born and raised in Miami, FL, Sharon joined the United States Air Force soon after graduating high school and served as an Air Traffic Controller. Although she is thankful to the Air Force for all she was able to experience, she is most thankful to have met her husband, Rick, while stationed at Patrick Space Force Base in Satellite Beach, Florida.

Rick and Sharon have been married since 1995, and, through that union, Sharon has a stepson Lenny, his fiancé Lauren, and six beautiful grandkids. On any given weekend, you can usually find the happy couple cheering on a grandchild at any number of different playing fields in the area or biking along the amazing trails in Central Florida.

Sharon joined the Man in the Mirror family in 2006 and currently serves as the Vice President of Finance, as well as Director of Accounting, Administration, and HR. She holds a master’s degree in Business Administration.

Sharon said, “I feel blessed to come to work every day to do something I enjoy, with folks I care about, in a place that matters. I believe in our ministry. I believe a man can be transformed. I believe failure does not have to be final because our God is a God of second chances.”
