Meanwhile, the number of close friendships Americans have has significantly declined, with only 27% reporting three or fewer close friends in 1990.

Discover how to make a lasting difference in a young man’s life by participating in The First Step, our 3-week small group study.

Have a Cup of Joe with a Bro
Download the question card here and invite a younger man for conversation and coffee.

Become a Mentor
If the young man is interested, invite him into a 6-week discussion through the Known Conversation Journal.

01. Launch Spiritual Fathers Small Groups
Invite a group of older men to join a group and discover how to make a lasting difference in a young man's life through “The First Step” 3-week small group study.
02. Facilitate a Cup of Joe with a Bro
Encourage the men who complete The First Step small group to have a cup of coffee with a younger man using the Joe with a Bro conversation card.
03. Encourage the Mentoring to Continue
If the young man would like to continue the connection, have the mentor set a consistent day/time and facilitate a 6-week discussion through the Known Conversation Journal.
