Our vision is "for every church to disciple every man," and our mission is "to help churches disciple men more effectively." To accomplish this we are in the process of hiring 330 Area Directors--one for every 1,000 churches. So far we have hired 53 men.
An Area Director, once activated, builds relationships with 100 churches in his first three years (about three churches per month), and then helps those churches to disciple, on average, 10 new men per year--for a total of 1,000 new disciples annually, and 10,000 in ten years.
It costs $15,000 each to hire, train, and deploy an Area Director. So what can $15,000 buy these days? Here's the projected impact of YOUR Area Director in his first ten years...
These are bold projections, but bold is what we need! God willing, you can experience these kinds of results in your region.
Like Nehemiah's wall-builders, we want to work alongside anyone and everyone committed to building authentic disciples of men. But just so you know, there is no secret group with an unlimited budget like the Manhattan Project hidden away in a dark room somewhere on the brink of a breakthrough. That's why we need you. If we--you and I--don't address the issue of restoring healthy men, can we really ever expect to restore healthy marriages, families, churches, and communities?
The cause is crucial. The stakes are high. The time is now! Recently I've been teaching that a servant doesn't ask, "What do I want?" A servant asks, "What does the Master need?" I humbly request you ask yourself, "Does the Master need me to be part of this?"
With great respect for our different callings from God, will you prayerfully consider funding one or more Area Directors at $15,000 each? Or gather a few people to join you. And who is one person you know who shares or could catch the vision? Would you introduce me to that person?
Email me at email@example.com and let's start a conversation.
i Based on an independently verified 2010 survey of the results achieved in, on average, 2 ½ years by 129 churches that completed the No Man Left Behind training.
