John Camerer

John Camerer is passionate about engaging young men in Seattle in meaningful relationships that change lives and build the kingdom of God. As a missionary in his community, he brings men together in community gatherings, equips mature Christian men to become mentors, and helps pastors and church leaders develop custom discipleship strategies. Using Man in the Mirror’s proven set of concepts and strategies, he helps men inside and outside of the church reflect honestly, pursue Jesus wholeheartedly, and live vibrantly.

After a 15 year career working for the Department of Corrections, John followed God’s call to start Vision House, a ministry that has met the housing, counseling and spiritual needs for over 1300 homeless men, women, and children.  John and his wife successfully led Vision House for 25 years.  John has also served as lay leader for the ministry to men at his church, using Man in the Mirror’s No Man Left Behind model.  Through this, he has seen many men become disciples for Christ.

John loves the outdoors.  You will find him hiking, biking, or relaxing in nature in his spare time.
