Area Director

John Davis is passionate about engaging young men in Cumming in meaningful relationships that change lives and build the kingdom of God. As a missionary in his community, he brings men together in community gatherings, equips mature Christian men to become mentors, and helps pastors and church leaders develop custom discipleship strategies. Using Man in the Mirror’s proven set of concepts and strategies, he helps men inside and outside of the church reflect honestly, pursue Jesus wholeheartedly, and live vibrantly.

A native Texan, John has 30 years of experience building high-performance teams and leading them to execute operations which deliver on strategic goals in the business, academic and military settings. He has a B.S. from Texas A&M University and M.B.A. from Georgia Southern University. John is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and retired from the U.S. Army at the rank of Colonel. John’s first job as a boy was mowing grass for neighbors and he still likes landscaping. He also enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and outdoor recreation in the north Georgia mountains (or anywhere else he can find it).
