Kevin Sowards

Kevin Sowards is is passionate about engaging young men in Topeka in meaningful relationships that change lives and build the kingdom of God. As a missionary in his community, he brings men together in community gatherings, equips mature Christian men to become mentors, and helps pastors and church leaders develop custom discipleship strategies. Using Man in the Mirror’s proven set of concepts and strategies, he helps men inside and outside of the church reflect honestly, pursue Jesus wholeheartedly, and live vibrantly.

Kevin was born, raised, and still resides in Topeka, Kansas. After high school, he started working at the local lumberyard, eventually working in the role of location manager.  He has served as an Elder in his long-time church, as well as taught Sunday school and led and organized various adult groups. Kevin has been married since 1995, he and his wife have twin adult daughters and enjoy exploring the country and taking walks together.

In December of 2018, Kevin joined the team at Man in The Mirror as an Area Director and moved into the role of Regional Director in June 2024.
