Area Director

Rami Intriago

New Smyrna Beach, Florida

Rami Intriago is committed to strengthening churches and equipping Christian men in the communities surrounding New Smyrna Beach to engage in meaningful relationships rooted in the Gospel of Christ that change lives and build the kingdom of God. As a trained Man in the Mirror consultant, Rami guides leaders through a comprehensive strategy to reach and disciple men, while providing ongoing support and encouragement every step of the way.

Rami was born in Ecuador, South America, and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, alongside five siblings. He earned a BSME from the University of Florida (UF) and spent more than 37 years at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center working on America’s human spaceflight programs. After much prayer, Rami stepped away from NASA, sensing the Lord’s call to serve His Kingdom in a new way. Dr. Chris Harper (Harp), CEO of BetterMan, encouraged him with these words: “Leaving NASA to serve with Man in the Mirror is a holy exchange—from building things that reach space to building men who stand firm on earth-both matter, but this season is eternal work. God doesn’t waste decades of faithfulness; He repurposes them.”

God has been preparing Rami to be an Area Director for Man in the Mirror since his first Promise Keepers event in Jacksonville. His passion for discipling men led him to start a men’s discipleship group at Christ Community Church (CCC) in Daytona Beach, where he and his wife still attend. CCC later hosted the MIM No Man Left Behind conference (twice), further confirming God’s preparation. Rami has served as an elder at CCC since 2013 and he and his wife remain active in multiple ministries.

Rami is a devoted husband, father of three, and proud “Mambo” of two grandchildren. He and his wife love hiking, being in the mountains or on the beach and attending UF athletics. Known as “Uncle Rambo,” Rami delights in spending time with his large, God-loving family—faults and all—held together by Christ’s love.
