Samuel Jones is committed to strengthening churches and equipping Christian men in the communities surrounding Chicago to engage in meaningful relationships that change lives and build the kingdom of God. As a trained Man in the Mirror consultant, he guides leaders through a comprehensive strategy to reach and disciple men, while providing ongoing support and encouragement every step of the way.
Samuel L. Jones was born in Hughes, Arkansas. His parents moved to Chicago, Illinois when he was just two weeks old. Raised in Chicago but never losing his connection to the south, he met his wife in a small town in Arkansas. They have been married for over 36 years.
Samuel serves as an Assistant Pastor at New Life Covenant Church S.E. in Chicago, Illinois. He is the ministry lead for the Discipleship School and regularly preaches and teaches at the men’s retreat. Samuels deep sense of calling to help men grow in biblical manhood and discipleship was shaped by being in men’s small groups and seeing the needs in his own life and community.
Because Sam “loves to serve “(pun intended), you can find him involved in his favorite pastime of playing tennis when time allows.
